不過今天非常的特別,一大一小信封,大信封上的寄件人是來自郡議會,我猜大概是妹妹的文件,所以就先拆小信封,沒想到....
入籍通知書等了整整三個月,終於讓我等到了!!
迫不及待打電話告訴先生,開頭我便說 " 我一定要先打電話通知你,沒辦法用傳簡訊的方式... " 他聽到我的聲音很奇怪,也急的問我說到底怎麼了" 我收到入籍通知書跟宣誓儀式的通知書及邀請函 " 他在電話的那頭開心的說著 " 這下你可以放心多了,太棒了!! " 然後我不打算繼續打擾他工作,他說他工作結束後會儘早回家

邀請函是給本人及二位親朋好友一起觀禮的,如果人數眾多,必須另外聯絡;也有不公開的入宣誓儀式,也是另外聯絡當局;先生說他沒參加過類似的儀式,他也是非常好奇當中
不過,我想到要念那堆字,我的舌頭都快打結

搬到大不列顛四年又二週,入籍總算告一段落,這下....
全世界走透透囉.... 哇哈哈哈
來算算搬來這裡住前/後,大概花了幾千英磅有喔 ( 我的血汗錢啊.... ) 這些錢拿來把家裡弄的更舒適的話,不是很好嗎,偏偏都得花在這幾張紙上面,哎.... 聽說明年又要改成記點制的,就算來觀光的簽證也要有大筆存款證明什麼的
接下來就是等領到入籍證書,就可以準備跟妹妹一起申請護照,然後計劃回台灣囉
還沒告訴台灣爸媽此事,要給他們一個驚喜

What to expect at your citizenship ceremony
Ceremonies are currently held weekly on Thursday afternoons in the Council Chamber at County Hall, Oxford.
Prior to the ceremony, the applicants and their guests are offered refreshments. All applicants are asked to sign in and sign the Oxfordshire Citizenship Register.
The ceremony opens with a short welcome and is followed by a speech from the local dignitary who speaks on behalf of the local community. The applicants then take the Oath and Pledge of Allegiance. They may swear or affirm the oath?depending on personal wishes and religious beliefs.
Every applicant is presented with a Certificate of Naturalisation and a welcome pack. Each person comes forward individually to receive the certificate from the civic dignitary. The presentation may be photographed to provide a memento of the occasion.
The whole assembly is then asked to stand for the National Anthem. After this they return to the assembly area where further refreshments are available.
